Oyo State Chief of Staff Commends Improved Local Government Elections
In the ongoing local government elections in Oyo State, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, expressed satisfaction with the conduct and progress witnessed compared to past elections.
Speaking with journalists shortly after casting his ballot at Laagbedu ward in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area, Ogunwuyi highlighted the positive changes observed, signaling a new era for local government elections in the state.
Ogunwuyi remarked, “OYSIEC has done a good job compared to past local government elections in Oyo State. This election has set a bar for what local government elections have been in the state, and as a party, PDP and the government, we are getting better by the day.”
