PDP’s Dominance Affirmed in Oyo State Elections, Says Engr Muftau Open Salawu
Engr Muftau Open Salawu, the Executive Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Project Implementation, reiterated the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) supremacy in Oyo State elections.
Speaking to journalists at his Alasa ward in Ogbomoso North local government, Salawu lauded the PDP’s consistent victories over the opposition, citing the transparent and fair conduct of elections by the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC).
He contrasted the PDP’s record of credible governance with the shortcomings of past opposition administrations, asserting their inability to garner voter support.
Salawu’s remarks underscored the PDP’s unwavering grip on power in the state and their commitment to upholding democratic values. He also commended OYSIEC for ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.
Open said the voting results will further reflects the prevailing confidence within the PDP camp as they gear up for future electoral battles, signaling a continuation of their political dominance in Oyo State.
