OYO NSCDC DEPLOYS 4,081 PERSONNEL FOR ELECTIONS
No fewer than 4,081 personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) have been deployed in Oyo State for this weekend’s general elections.
The State NSCDC Commandant, CC Adaralewa Michael Akintayo, made this known on Thursday, while briefing journalists at the Command’s Headquarters at Agodi, Ibadan.
Adaralewa urged the selected officers to be patriotic and professional in the discharge of their duties during the general elections.
The NSCDC Commandant reiterated the Command’s readiness to provide adequate security of life and property as well as all electoral materials including the adhoc staff of INEC during the general elections.
