2023: Fadare Congratulates Ogbomoso, as Accord Unveils Late Ayandele Daughter as Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate

Candidate representing the Accord for Ogbomoso South State Constituency at the 2023 general elections, Fadare Sunkanmi Paul, has disclosed that the Accord political party has shown that it’s the only party ready to align all the zones in Oyo state by following the yearnings of the people in regards to zoning political positions.

He made this known in a congratulatory statement made available to ROUNDOYO, as the Accord unveiled it’s deputy gubernatorial candidate, Professor Mrs Abiodun Ayandele.

Accord in Oyo State on Thursday unveiled Professor Mrs Abiodun Ayandele as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party in the 2023 general elections.

The Ogbomosho-born Professor of Microbiology, who was a full time commissioner at the Oyo State local government service commission during the tenure of Abiola Ajimobi is from the family of foremost progressive leader, Late Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland, Chief Senator Ayantayo Ayandele.

A chieftain of the party, Senator Ayo Adeseun, who introduced the Deputy Governorship candidate, explained that the choice of the 49-year-old Professor Ayandele was in the best interest of the people.

Fadare in his statement noted that the progressive family of Accord has shown that they want to serve the people by giving each zone what they asked for.

He said ” Our leaders have really thought well by zoning the deputy gubernatorial slot to Ogbomoso zone, it’s on record that Oke Ogun for the past 12 years have cement the position for their self, and by zoning it to Ogbomoso the zone and Ogbomoso South, it will definitely increase our chances of winning this zone.

“Also since the time of Oyo State have been having deputy governors, we have not carried the women along enough, as a party it will be on record that Accord Party produced Oyo State first female deputy governor.

” I however congratulate Ogbomoso in it’s entirety and Professor Mrs Abiodun Ayandele on her emergence as the incoming deputy governor of Oyo State.

“ Therefore, I enjoin the entire citizenry of Oyo State to come out en-masse to vote for our ticket during the forthcoming 2023 general election. It’s a mandate of inclusiveness which will enable us to build a peaceful, prosperous, and greater Oyo State.
