Oyedokun hails “hope for the downtrodden” Makinde at 55

Executive Chairman Ogbomoso South Local Government, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has congratulated Engr Seyi Makinde, on his 55th birthday.

In a birthday congratulatory statement on Sunday signed by his media aide, Mr Femi Ajiboye, Oyedokun who also doubles as the Secretary, Association of Local Government Chairmen in Oyo state, described Makinde as a leader of impeccable disposition.

Oyedokun remarked that since the emergence of Makinde as the Governor of Oyo State, he have left no one in doubt as to his capacity to handle matters of state interest, development and progress.

 “I acknowledge, admire, and respect His Excellency sterling qualities and commitment to the welfare of Oyo State workers and pensioners.

“You have done well for Oyo State and Nigeria, hence you should be celebrated. Your contributions were significant to the revival of Oyo State economy , and to many of us you are a manifestation of courage and a hope for the downtrodden.

“As you turns 55 today, I beseech God to continue to imbue you with good health and robust energy and grant you more years to continue in the service of our state and humanity.”
