PDP Stakeholders in Ogbo South Unanimously Support Oyedokun Timothy’s Re-election as Council Chairman

In a display of unity and consensus, stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area have jointly endorsed the candidacy of Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy for a second term as council chairman. The decision was reached after thorough deliberations conducted by party stakeholders who highly commended Hon. Timothy for his outstanding performance during his first term.
At a strategic meeting held on tuesday at the party’s secretariat, key stakeholders from various wards within Ogbomoso South gathered to discuss and evaluate the tenure of Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy. The attendees included party leaders, elders, youth representatives, women groups, and other notable personalities within the local government area.
During the meeting, stakeholders unanimously agreed that Hon. Timothy had demonstrated excellent leadership qualities and made significant developmental strides in various sectors of the community. His proactive approach to governance, transparency, accountability, and commitment to the welfare of the people were factors that deeply resonated with the attendees.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, Mr. Taiwo Akano, a prominent party leader, expressed his satisfaction with Hon. Timothy’s achievements in office. “We have witnessed firsthand the positive transformation in our local government under the leadership of Hon. Timothy. His projects have impacted lives tremendously,” he stated.
Several stakeholders also lauded the council chairman’s efforts in fostering unity among different factions within the PDP, thereby promoting peace and harmony within the party. They emphasized that the council chairman’s amiable and inclusive nature contributed significantly to the growth and stability of the party in Ogbomoso South.
In light of these achievements, the stakeholders endorsed Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy as the PDP’s candidate for the forthcoming local government election. They expressed unwavering confidence in his ability to build upon the foundation he has laid and take Ogbomoso South to greater heights.
Hon. Timothy, visibly humbled by the unanimous support of the party stakeholders, expressed his gratitude and promised to continue his people-centered approach to governance. “I am immensely grateful for this vote of confidence from the PDP stakeholders in Ogbomoso South. I will remain resolute in my commitment to serving the people diligently and ensuring the progress and development of our local government area,” he affirmed.
As preparations for the elections begin, it is evident that
not all political office holders will return as aspirants are already slugging it out and making moves to unseat incumbents in some council areas across Oyo State.
Among party leaders and stakeholders present at the affirmation includes, Majority leader Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Sanjo Adedoyin, Hon Taiwo Alagbe, Apostle Moses Olamoyegun, Mr Taiwo Akano, Mr Oladejo Emmanuel, Mrs Toyin Olaniran, Mrs Doja Agbejinmi, Mr Rotimi Oladipo, Mr Oguns among others.
