NEW YEAR: Oyedokun felicitate citizens, beacon on them to play their part in accelerated development

Executive Chairman, Ogbomoso South Local Government, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has rejoiced with Ogbomoso South residents on the celebration of a new year 2023, urging for collective resolve as the state is ready to usher in the second phase of accelerated development.

He made this known in a statement made available to newsmen by his media aide, Mr Femi Ajiboye, the council boss felicitated with them as they crossed over into a new year, praying that the won’t record loss in the new year 2023.

The Council boss also used the medium to remind them that the wave of peace and accelerated development being witness in the state should be sustained by voting for the People’s Democratic Party in the general elections.

He said “From the record of achievements last year, 2023 is full of prospects and opportunities, as the Seyi Makinde led administration is set to again work for the upliftment of Oyo State and further strengthen the economy and it’s people we should all vote enmasse for HE Engr Seyi Makinde and all other candidates of the People’s Democratic Party.”

Hon Oyedokun also called on the citizens to play their part in the accelerated development process.

“All that is required is for all to demonstrate patriotism and genuine commitment to making the desired sacrifices that are needed to building a state that is self sufficient and strong enough to provide opportunities for its people to flourish”.

Hon Oyedokun further promised that he remain committed to carrying out robust initiatives towards targeting issues that are plaguing Ogbomoso South Local Government.

“I will also benchmark targets for grassroot development plans, as I shall continue to work closely with the State Government under the purposeful leadership of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE to create synergy that is critical to achieving meaningful development in Ogbomoso South,” he added.
