Easter: Ogunwuyi felicitate with Christians, urges them to imbibe Christ-like life
The Chief of Staff to Executive Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi has felicitated with Christians across the state on the occasion of Easter, urging them to reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ and rededicate themselves to living Christ-like life, as Christians all over the world celebrate Easter.
The Otunba Mayeloye of Ijeru Kingdom urged Nigerians, particularly residents and citizens of Oyo State to be steadfast and see the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross as an opportunity to purge themselves of sins and live in the ways of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Ogunwuyi said “Jesus’ death and resurrection is the reason why we know that there is an answer to the darkness and fragility of this world. There is hope and redemption. There is a light, which cannot be overcome. Therefore, this Easter Season offers more opportunities for humanity to live Christ-like life”
“As Christians who are Christ-like, we must also demonstrate God’s love in us by loving all mankind, forgiving not just friends but enemies, praying for our own leaders & our country.”
The former parliamentarian concluded by wishing all Christians a Happy Easter that is filled with joy and happiness.
