BREAKING: Saka Bello, Ogbomoso Parapo National Vice President resigns, as president says it’s good riddance to bad rubbish
A national vice president who doubles as home branch chairman of Egbe Omo Ogbomoso Parapo Agbaaye, Alhaji Saka Bello, has resigned his positions.
This is contained in a letter of resignation he signed and made available to newsmen Tuesday.
The letter dated, August 16, 2022, and titled, “Letter of resignation,” states thus, “I, Saka Bello Aremole do hereby tender letter of resignation as the chairman Egbe Omo Ogbomoso Parapo home and 2nd national vice chairman of the same organization dated today 16th day of August, 2022.”
However giving no reason for his resignation he stated, “I appreciate all and sundry for your support during my chairmanship tenure. Thanks.”
Reacting, the national president, Justice Afolabi Adeniran, dismissed the action noting it was mere preemptive action.
According to Justice Adeniran, the executive body of the socio-cultural organization met at the weekend during which Bello was expelled over what he described as his humongous wrongdoings.
“We met on Friday, 26th and expelled him. In fact, we are sending public notice that nobody should deal with him henceforth in respect of Ogbomoso Parapo. He committed a lot of wrongdoings in the name of Parapo. He merely used that letter to preempt our decision. That would not stop us.”
