Your Presence Is Not Felt In Oorelope LG, Your Leader, Loyalists Have Left – PDP Chieftain, Alwajud, Replies Lawmaker
…Urges Makinde, Party Leader To Disregard Him
A chieftain and leader of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Oorelope local government area, Alhaji Yusuf Sharafadeen Alani also known Alwajud has told the Lawmaker representing Oorelope State Constituency, Hon. Lateef Adebunmi Ayawo that his leaders and loyalists have left the party.
He said that the Lawmaker’s presence is not being felt by the party in Oorelope Local government adding that he has not been partaking in the activities of the party at the local government.
Alwajud who spoke on behalf of leaders of the party in the local government said this in a telephone conversation with our correspondent, on Wednesday, in reaction to a news report by the lawmaker that he was still in the PDP.
He advised the lawmaker that if truly he’s a member of the PDP, he should come to the general meeting of the party and address the members of the party.
He urged Governor Seyi Makinde and the leadership of the party to disregard the Lawmaker’s claim of not leaving the party adding that he doesn’t have any one supporting him among the Leaders of the party in Oorelope.
His words: “I read the news of the Lawmaker representing Oorelope State Constituency this morning that he’s still a member of our party. Let me state it clearly that, Hon Lateef Adebunmi Ayawo is no more with us in PDP in Oorelope local government, his presence is not being felt. Infact, his Leaders and loyalists left the party.
“He should stop cajoling us by rushing to the media. He should come to the General meeting of the party and address party members if truly he’s with us.
“Our Governor, His excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the leadership of our Party should please ignore and disregard his claim. He had since stopped supporting the party.”
