Rt. Hon. Joshua Olagunju Ojo Congratulates Moses Adeyemo, Greets APC Leaders

A former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Joshua Olagunju Ojo, has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, on his emergence as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, alongside other newly elected state executive members.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Rt. Hon. Ojo described Adeyemo’s emergence at the congress held at the Liberty Stadium as a round peg in a round hole, noting that his years of loyalty, experience, and dedication to party ideals have prepared him for the task ahead.

The former Speaker paid glowing tribute to the late former governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, praising the enduring political structure and leadership culture he established. He also eulogised Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi, for her steadfast commitment to preserving her late husband’s legacy and strengthening party unity in the state.

Rt. Hon. Ojo further extended special greetings to distinguished party leaders including Sen. Brimo Yusuf, Engr. Dayo Lawal, and Sen. Fatai Buhari, acknowledging their continued contributions to the growth and stability of the APC in Ogbomosho and Oyo State.

He commended the congress committee led by Alh Fatai Ibikunle for conducting a peaceful and credible exercise, describing the consensus arrangement as a testament to unity and maturity within the party.

The former Speaker who doubles as the Renewed Hope Ambassador for Orire Local goverment on behalf of the entire APC members in Orire Local Government, reaffirmed their unflinching loyalty and support for the new state executive committee. He assured the leadership of their readiness to mobilize grassroots support and work tirelessly toward consolidating the party’s strength across Oyo State.

He urged all party faithful to close ranks and remain committed to the collective vision of repositioning the APC for greater success in the state.
