Oyo PDP Congratulates Newly Appointed Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed supervisory councillors and special assistants, as endorsed by the leader of the party and the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde.

In a statement, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, the State Chairman of Oyo State PDP, commended party leaders across all 33 local governments and 351 wards for demonstrating exceptional unity and harmony.

Their collaborative efforts ensured the nomination of individuals with impeccable integrity and character for these key roles.

Hon. Ogungbenro emphasized the responsibility that comes with these appointments, urging the new appointees to view their positions as a rare privilege rather than an entitlement.

He called on them to collaborate effectively with their local government chairmen and other stakeholders to foster the development of their respective areas.

Furthermore, Hon. Ogungbenro reminded all local government chairmen to comply with Governor Makinde’s directive for the immediate swearing-in of all appointees.
