Ogunsina Holds Media Parley with New Media Journalists, PDP Media Team
Mr. Michael Ogunsina, the Acting Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, convened a significant meeting with new media journalists and members of the PDP Media Team at the party’s secretariat in Molete.
The discussions focused on the party’s future plans and ideas, a review of the PDP’s media structure and operations, and the integration of newly sworn-in local government chairmen into media activities. Ogunsina lauded the journalists and the media team for their steadfast support and commitment, promising that the party would protect their interests.
In his address, Ogunsina emphasized the importance of accuracy and balance in journalism, urging reporters to seek multiple perspectives to ensure fair and lawful reporting. He also praised the Oyo State Governor as an exemplary party ambassador, inspiring other political office holders.
Mr. Daramola Fisayo, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Media, highlighted the need for synergy between the PDP media team and the government. He advised journalists to avoid libelous stories that could lead to legal troubles, asserting that the government, which has nothing to hide, is committed to transparency but will not tolerate deliberate misinformation.
Ogunsina extended gratitude to several key figures for their contributions to the media parley, including Hon. Adedeji Olajide Stanley, Hon. Adigun Adekunle Abass Agboworin, Hon. Oyesina Oyedeji, Hon. Sunday Ojo Makanjuola, Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources Hon. Seun Ashamu, Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo, and Hon. Olusina Ogunsola.
He assured ongoing support and patronage from the party to the media team and the new local government leaders.
