Eid: Gunju Ojo Felicitates with Muslims, Commiserate with Oyo Govt over BCOS Inferno
The immediate past speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Gunju Ojo has felicitated with Muslims as they celebrate Eidel Fitri.
He thanked Almighty Allah for His innumerable mercies which made it possible for Muslim faithfuls to witness this blessed day of Eid-Fitr 1444 AH, after fulfilling the mandatory Ramadan fast.
In a state wide press release on Friday, Gunju Ojo urged them to imbibe the spirit of godliness, perseverance and intercession.
The seasoned parliamentarian enjoined the people to remain steadfast in imbibing the culture of compassion, honesty and peaceful coexistence, as salient lessons of the Ramadan.
He further urged the people to use this auspicious period to increase supplication and prayers for Allah (SWT) to bring an end to all the difficulties and challenges in the tate, nation and the world at large.
In the light of these, he commiserated with the Oyo State government, management, board and staffs of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State over the recent inferno that gutted the broadcast Studio.
He said that he was devastated with the unfortunate incident “I was horrified, saddened and distressed with the destruction of part of the Broadcasting house.”
He, therefore, commiserated with the government and entire staff members of BCOS.
