The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government, Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy (OOT), has congratulated the Muslim faithful in Ogbomoso South, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In his goodwill message, OOT emphasized the importance of religious tolerance, unity, and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths. He noted that Ramadan is a period of sacrifice, devotion, and love, urging Muslims to extend these virtues beyond the holy month.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I call on all residents, regardless of religious beliefs, to embrace peace, tolerance, and unity. Our strength as a community and a nation lies in our ability to live together in harmony, respecting one another’s faith and working collectively for progress,” he said.
He further encouraged Muslims to continue demonstrating the values of kindness, patience, and generosity in their daily lives, adding that Ogbomoso South will continue to support initiatives that promote peaceful coexistence and communal development.
