Hon. Femi Onireti Hosts Political Associates, Less Privileged at Festive Party in Ogbomoso

Hon. Femi Onireti, a prominent figure and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso , hosted a grand Christmas and New Year party on Friday at his residence in Adiatu, Ogbomoso. The event, which attracted political associates, supporters, and the less privileged, was described as a moment of thanksgiving and unity.

In an interaction with newsmen, Hon. Onireti expressed gratitude to God for His continuous blessings and emphasized the need for reflection and appreciation amid the nation’s challenges. “This is our way of saying thank you, Lord. It’s a moment of appreciation to our creator, who keeps us from harm. People came to celebrate, dine, and relax, easing the prevailing tension and hardship. We also shared Christmas goodies with the less privileged to spread love and hope during this festive season,” he said.

The festive gathering featured a standout performance by renowned artist Tee Flavour, also known as Ododo Emi, whose electrifying music added glamour to the occasion. The event served as a platform for merriment and goodwill, highlighting Onireti’s commitment to fostering unity and compassion.

In a social media post, Hon. Onireti wrote, “Yesterday, we turned moments into memories as political gladiators, PDP leaders, my amazing supporters, and the good people of Ogbomoso joined me at my residence for our Christmas and New Year party. Tee Flavour delivered a show-stopping performance, adding color to an already fantastic evening. Thank you all for being a part of it. Together, we’re stepping into 2025 with renewed energy and purpose.”

The event also had a strong political undertone, bringing together key PDP stakeholders and grassroots mobilizers. Among the dignitaries present were Hon. George Ogunlade, chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government; Hon. Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy, chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government; Hon. Akinwole Akinwale, PDP senatorial candidate for Oyo North in the 2023 general election; Hon. Adeseun Adeyinka, a former caretaker chairman of Ogbomoso Central LCDA; and Hon. Jide Oketunbi, a former commissioner at the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), representing Oyo State.

The festive gathering was hailed as a successful blend of merriment and political unity, as attendees celebrated the season with renewed optimism.
