Officially opened by the Acting Governor of Oyo State, Chief Bayo Lawal, this market is a testament to Hon. Oyeniyi’s dedication to creating opportunities for local businesses and traders. It features 120 lock-up shops, 84 open stalls, an abattoir, an administrative block, a standard car park, modern toilets, and electricity, setting a new standard for market infrastructure in the region.

However, this is not the first time the Kajola market has benefited from Hon. Oyeniyi’s leadership. During his first tenure, he was instrumental in providing the market with electricity and a new transformer, installing a borehole for clean water, and converting older stalls into lock-up shops to enhance their utility and appeal. These initial efforts laid the groundwork for the comprehensive redevelopment seen today, underscoring his genuine commitment to making the Kajola market the best among its peers.

“This market project is a culmination of years of thoughtful planning and execution,” Hon.
