Ilaka, Tegbe, Wolekanle Hold Strategic Meeting in Ibadan
On Sunday, the three senatorial candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state from the last general election held a closed-door strategic meeting in Ibadan.
The meeting, which took place at Bodija, saw the attendance of Chief Bisi Ilaka of Oyo Central Senatorial District, Mogaji Joseph Tegbe of Oyo South, and Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, also known as Wolekanle.
Although the specifics of the meeting were not disclosed, it was learned that the trio took the opportunity to reassure their supporters, urging them to stay calm, committed, and dedicated to the party.
Sources revealed that some supporters are discontented due to being overlooked for elective positions during the local government elections and appointments at both the state and local government levels.
