The Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State, has expressed their appreciation to Party members for their exemplary conduct during the recently concluded Ward Congress.
In what was described peaceful and orderly in manner which the Congress was conducted has been widely commended, and the Party extends its gratitude to all members for their cooperation and commitment.
According to reports from the field, the Ward Congress, which took place yesterday, was a resounding success. Party Leaders were acknowledged for their wisdom, maturity, and dexterity in overseeing the process, ensuring that it unfolded smoothly without any disturbances.
As the Party moves forward with its adjusted schedule of activities, tomorrow, 21st of July, has been marked as the date for the Chairmanship Candidates’ election for the upcoming 2024 Local Government Election.
The Party urges all members to actively participate in this significant event and cooperate fully with the Party’s leadership in their respective local governments to ensure a successful Primary election exercise.
