Accord Chieftain, Gunju Ojo Hails Ladoja at 78
Former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, RT Hon Joshua Olagunju Ojo has congratulated the former governor of Oyo State , Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, on the occasion of his 78th birthday.
Gunju Ojo, in his congratulatory statement on Sunday to the Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, High Chief Senator Ladoja said over the years, he has emblazoned his name as an advocate of social justice, an elder statesman and a great asset to the state.
High Chief Ladoja was elected governor of Oyo State in April 2003 on the PDP platform, and took office on 29 May 2003.
The Accord party chieftain and seasoned paliamentarian noted that the former Senator has contributed immensely to the development of Oyo state.
He said “You are a man of many parts with legendary contributions to the development of our dear state and country.
“Your human capital development is alluring just as you have made personal sacrifices in raising a lot of leaders both in the circular and political sphere.
“I however, join your entire family, friends and associates to celebrate you on your 78th birthday and I pray that as your days, so shall your strength, wisdom and favour with God be, ” he added.
