Easter: Oyedokun Urges Christian Faithful to Show Love and Offer Selfless Service
As Christians all over the world celebrate Easter, Ogbomoso South Chairman, Prince Oyedokun Oyeniyi, has used the occasion to advice Christians in particular and by extension all Nigerians to always seek to provide selfless service to humanity just as Christ demonstrated through his death and resurrection
In a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Oluwafemi Ajiboye, he stated this in an Easter message.
“The Oyo state ALGON Secretary urges Christians to learn from the life of selfless service and love lived by Jesus Christ.”
He said this was exemplified by the sacrifice made by Christ when he was crucified.
Oyedokun added that “when we show love and offer selfless service just as Christ did, then our society, nation and indeed the world we live in will be a better place for all of us.”
He also tasked the Christian faithful to use this period of Easter to pray for the survival of Nigeria, saying the current situation in the country requires divine intervention to overcome the myriads of its problems.
