APC Suspends Adeolu Akande And Mojeed Olaoya Over Anti Party Activities

The All Progressives Congress in Oyo State has suspended the Chairman of Nigeria Communication Commission, NCC and 2023 gubernatorial aspirant, Prof Adeolu Akande and the caretaker Secretary in the party in Oyo State, Mr Mojeed Olaoya over alleged involvement in anti-party activities.

In a letter addressed to Prof Akande, the action of the party was contained in a letter by executives and members of the party in ward 8, of Itesiwaju local government, as signed by Mr Eweje Rasheed Eweniran and Mr Azzez Jimoh dated 10th of nobember 2021.

Specifically, the ward executives alleged that Adeolu’s activities in recent time were capable of causing disrupte in the party, adding that their investigations reveled he has been saddled with the responsibility of destabilizing the party.

Meanwhile, Mojeed Olaoya was suspended from ward two, Ibadan South-East local government chapter of the party on alleged gross misconduct, prolonged absenteeism, anti party activities and not being a financial member of the party.

As stated in the letter, the executive members said ” after the conclusion of ward two emergency meeting held at Ajimobi compound, Oja’ba Ibadan, on 9th November, we have to authority of the entire Executive and members of our great ward to officially communicate your suspension from the ward and by extension, from the party to you.”
