Paul Ajagbe mourns late Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland

House of assembly hopeful, Paul Olukunle Ajagbe has mourned the demise of the chief imam of Ogbomosoland who died on Thursday morning.

In his condolence letter made available to ROUNDOYO, commiserated with muslim faithfuls and the immediate family the reversed cleric left behind.

He said, “As-Sheikh Asafa Sanusi was a true patriot, an unbiased religious leader, a patriotic Nigerian and indeed, a father figure whose penchant and capacity for inter-religious tolerance and harmonious co-existence would be greatly missed by all.”

He urged the family of the late cleric, the people of Ogbomosoland and the Muslim community  to take consolation in the knowledge that the late Muslim leader made indelible contributions to the development of the town.

Paul Ajagbe prayed God Almighty to grant his soul eternal rest.
