Oyo Chief of Staff, Ogunwuyi Leads PVC E-registration Excerise in Ogbomoso

Just as the INEC has released the modalities of online registration of new voters in anticipation of next general elections in 2023, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Otunba (Hon.) Olusegun Ogunwuyi Ebenezer and the Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government, Hon. Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy, today paid a courtesy visit to the team registering new voters at Òkè Osuuru area, Arowomole Ward 3 where free PVC e-registration in going on.


The Chief of Staff who came alongside Chief of Staff to Ogbomoso South Chairman, Hon. Rotimi Oladipupo, leader of Ogbomoso South Legislative Council, Hon Alao Olatunji; Councillor representating Oke olla/ Farm settlement, Hon Ojo Ibunkun; former chairman, Ogbomoso South West LCDA, Hon Amusan Damilare among others.

In his address to the intending registrants, Hon. Ogunwuyi commended the team of young People’s Democratic Party for their insight into making the registration easier for the people. He also commended the people who trooped out in their numbers to register, this as he made it known is the first step among the other several steps in choosing our representatives.


In his own message, Hon. Oyeniyi made it known to the people that the on going registration is only open registration to those who have not registered before, those who have lost their PVC’s and those intending to change their voting location.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Special Assistant on Media to  Ogbomoso South Local Government Chairman, Mr Femi Ajiboye, the team had earlier stormed Ibapon ward in Ogbomoso South LG and also moved to Aarada market and will be proceeding to Ogbomoso North Local Government axis tomorrow.
