BSA Foundation Distributes Food Items, Essential Commodities To Over 3000 Residents Of Ogbomoso

As food prices keep skyrocketting across the country and citizens facing hardships, a non governmental organisation, Booda Sunday Adeyemo Foundation, on saturday distributed food items and essential commodities worth N5 million to residents of Ogbomoso in Oyo State to cushion the effect of the hardship ravaging the nation.

Founder/President of the foundation, Mr Sunday Adeyemo, in a chat with ROUNDOYO, explained that the initiative was borne out of the need to cushion the effects of the current economic crises citizens were facing.

The foundation distributed over 3,000 relief packages to vulnerable people, as the stimulus relief package includes Beans, Cookies, Garri, Spaghetti, among others.

While speaking at the event, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, lauded the foundation, has he called on other well meaning individuals and organisations to collaborate with the sate government led by Engr Oluseyi Makinde in alleviating poverty acrooss the state.

Otunba Ogunwuyi who was represented by the former chairman Ogbomoso South West LCDA, Hon Amusan Damilare donated N200,000 to the foundation to help it further its humanitarian services.

Religious leaders, Councillors, Political gaints and other major stakeholders were present at Baptist Grammar School, Ahoyaya, Ogbomoso South Local goverment area, at the event tagged “BSA Operation Feed The Needy”.
