LAUTECH alumnus, Alao Tunji emerges leader of Ogbomoso South local government legislature.

Executive Chairman Ogbomoso South local government Hon Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy on Wednesday inaugurated the legislative arm of Ogbomoso South local government which saw, Hon Alao Tunji Stephen emerged as the leader of the house.

The election came at the first sitting of the house held at the legislative building in the council after the swearing in of the local government councillors by the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government Hon Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy.

Hon Tunji, is from Alapata Ward and an alumnus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State where he bagged BSC in Transport Management.

Hon. Mudasiru Akanni, from Akata ward , was elected as deputy leader, Hon Ojo Ibukun from Oke-olla/farm settlement ward emerged the majority leader and Hon Kehinde Olubunmi from Arowomole ward as chief whip.

Subsequently, they took the oath of office in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria after been sworn-in.

All the ten members of the council legislative arm are members of the People’s Democratic Party PDP.

Among those present at the first sitting were, Executive Chairman Ogbomoso South local government Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, Former Chairmen Ogbomoso South local government Hon Taiwo Alagbe and Hon Felix Akande, Hon Issac Olajide, Apostle Moses Olamoyegun, Hon Rotimi Oladipupo, Hon Taiwo Akano among others.
