Igbope community, oke-ogun area has made it known that Oyo State deputy governor, Engr Raid Olaniyan is already reaping from what he sowed in reaction to the deputy governor’s claim of being sidelined.
Speaking with Roundoyo a native of the town, Comrade Olagbemiro Joshua famously known as Mandela made this disclosure in reaction to a claim credited to the deputy governor of Oyo State, Engr Rauf Olaniyan that he has been sidelined by the state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.
He said the deputy governor should not complain has he has also neglected most towns in Oke ogun including Igbope.
He said “When the pot is cooking yam nobody is aware, but when the yam is being pestled
noise erupts , that’s the case of Engr Olaniyan who comes to Igbope day and night before election but after election he is no where to be found.
“He sidelined igbope when nominating positions knowing fully that no political office holder came from the town.
Similarly Com Olagbemiro complained over the sidelining of the town over amenities saying all what they have in the town was done by the citizens noting that no government has ever remembered them for good.
“We constructed everything by ourself, our police station,the school we constructed it in 2002, almost everything was done by us.
“We need amenities in our town, political appointments, we lack behind despite our voting strength” he added.
Furthermore, he congratulated the new monarch, His Royal Highness Oba Moses Oyetola Olawale as he urged members of the town to cooperate with the monarch to ensure development and peaceful coexistence in Igbope
