Member House of Representatives representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency who is deputy Chairman House committee on Airforce, Hon. Abass A. Adigun fondly called Agboworin on Tuesday visited the 671 Nigerian Airforce Detachment, Ibadan to inspect the ongoing housing projects in the base.
He was received by Group Captain A.A Muhammad and Flight Lieutenant Modibo on his arrival to the 671 Nigerian Airforce Detachment, Ibadan.
The Lawmaker who inspected the ongoing construction of housing facilities for the good accommodation of Air Force men and Women in Airforce base, Abake Estate, Ibadan. He stated that the projects were going steadily.
The site manager of Habtob global ventures limited, Mr Emmanuel took the lawmaker round the on-going housing facilities project which is 70% done projects and also other materials needed for the completion of the project were already on the site.
The project was slowed down due to the covid-19 pandemic, during the time only 3-4 workers were allowed to come to the site per day but now we have 75 workers on the site working presently which aids easy and fast work on the housing facilities, the site manager said.
Hon. Abass Adigun commended the contractor for doing a good job, adding that he was satisfied with the quality and pace of work at the ongoing construction of housing facilities for a proper and convenient accommodation of Air Force men and women at the base.
