OOT Restates Commitment To Ogbomoso South Development

Caretaker Chairman, Ogbomoso South Local Government Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has
has restated the commitment of Engr Seyi Makinde led administration of fast tracking development in the state.

The Chairman said this while featuring on a radio program in Ogbomoso on Thursday, saying despite the APC led ALGON struggle and the Covid 19 pandemic the local government administration has reached out to the people through various developmental projects.

Hon Oyedokun attributed his achievements to the massive support the State Chief Executive had given him since he assumed office, saying that the people of Ogbomoso South owe a lot to the Governor.

He said:” As a people, what we owe him is making sure that his developmental strides are totally replicated in Ogbomoso South which no doubt, we have been doing.

While giving account of his stewardship in the last six months, the LG boss said he embarked on various projects such as dredging of Rivers such as Molete – Laka, Ilogbo rivers, renovations of Boreholes, reconstruction of the damaged Ekundayo bridge which he said will be completed soon.

As he also disclosed that Ekundayo road is already in the 2020 budget of the State government.

However, the council boss said the massive support he received from the people would spur him to redouble his effort to make the local government area an envy of all in the areas of security, infrastructure, youth empowerment, human capital development, and agriculture as he notes that soon the LG will embark on training and skills acquisition for unemployed youths.
