Muftau Open Salawu builds new mosque in Ogbomoso

In fulfilment of his promise to re-build the ageing Ogiri Mosque in Ita-alasa area of Ogbomoso North local government, Engr Muftau Open Salawu delivered a newly built mosque back to the community.

The mosque was commissioned today by the Grand Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland Asheikh Dr Alamal yekeen Ashafa Adegboyega Sunusi.


He thanked Engr Muftau Open Salawu for building a befitting mosque, describing it as an important example of his commitment to his native community and Islam as a religion.

Speaking with ROUNDOYO Dr Alamal said the building of a mosque by Engr Open who is the Saraki Adini of Ogbomosoland is equal to obtaining a ticket for Aljanah.

“Apart from the ultimate reward, the building of a mosque in a way affords a person to continue to earn the blessings of Allah even after death,” he said.

The Chief Imam while describing Engr Muftau said this is not the first time he would be the first time he would be contributing to Islam and Ogbomosoland in general.

“This not the first time he would contributing to Islam and Ogbomosoland in general, and he was part of the reasons he was turbaned Saraki Adini because of his consistent commitment to Allah’s work and service to humanity.”
