Ex-Gov Rasheed Ladoja might be on his way back to PDP

Former Oyo State Governor, Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja might be on his way back into the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the platform where he ruled the state from 2003-2007.

Barely after seven months after the Ex-governor left the Peoples Democratic Party to join the African Democratic Congress, ADC, a party he left again after four months to join the Zenith labour Party.

Loyalists of the former governor who followed him out of the party are already finding their way back into the party, people such as the PRO of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Engr Akeem Olatunji who followed him out of PDP to ADC to ZLP and currently back into PDP. Also Recently Wasiu Emiola the secretary of the ADC has rejoined PDP.

Also a lot of his loyalists and former political ally throughout the state has rejoined and receive appointment in the current administration.

It would be recalled that in 2019 four gubernatorial candidates , Seyi Makinde of PDP, Bolaji Ayorinde of SDP, Femi Lanleyin of ADC, and Sharafadeen Alli of ZLP formed a coalition which produced Engr Seyi Makinde as the Governor and all the process was head by Sen Rasheed Ladoja.

The former Governor left the PDP during the build up to last election after scudding the National Working Committee of the party of sidelining him.
