General Manager Crown Football Club of Ogbomosho, Rolandson Odeh, has resigned his position at the club we can exclusively report.
Rolandson Odeh threw in the towel on Friday morning at the Oyo State secretariat after a brief meeting with the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Seun Fakorede.
The fans and players of the Ajilete Warriors are in a state of shock following Rolandson Odeh’s resignation.
The news comes like a bolt of lightning on a sunny day for the Nigeria National League side, who are gearing up for promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The former head coach of defunct Anambra United FC who joined the Ogbomosho darling team in 2017 cited personal reasons for his resignation.
“After difficult considerations, I have decided to resign from my position as General Manager of Crown Football Club.
“I deeply appreciate my time with Crown and I want to thank all the fantastic people who made the club a fantastic place to work for me,” the former Jigawa Golden Stars gaffer said.
However, the former Head Coach of Bayelsa Queens has been appointed the Technical Manager of Edo Queens Football Club of Benin, we can exclusively report.
Rolandson Odeh’s appointment takes immediate effect after he was offered a two years contract with options of renewal and he is schedule to resume his new duty post on Monday evening after he might have signed the dotted lines.
Rolandson Odeh, when contacted told our correspondent that; “I am happy to have joined Edo Queens, it is a home calling and I will do my best for the club to succeed,” the former Super Falcons assistant coach said.
