Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has just finished meeting chairmen and sole administrators of local government and local council development areas in the state.
This is coming four days after sacked chairmen of LGAs and LCDAs took over at the various council headquarters in the state.
RoundOyo.com recalls that Makinde had sacked chairmen elected by his predecessor few hours after he was inaugurated.
On his verified twitter account, Makinde wrote “This afternoon, we met with Local Government and Local Community Development Areas Caretaker Chairpersons. I urged them to remain focused on the task at hand; to decide on projects for each of our LGAs and LCDAs and execute them for the benefit of our people.”
